"We stayed here about 9 years ago and chose to stay again. Our room was the type that has a 'backyard' with our own hot spring (think jacuzzi with a water fall feature, surrounded by plants and flowers, and heated by a volcano). The thermal forest and hot springs near the main pool were also amazing and a nice option between La Fortuna adventures, or when the rain forest is 'doing it's job' (aka raining). "This place is top of the heap!! I have stayed at lots of quality resorts and this one is on top of the list.. check in was easy, room was awesome, food and restaurants were great and plentiful. You can get a golf cart to shuttle you around or walk.. the property is beautiful and has three resorts to wander thru to eat, get coffee, jump in the thermal baths, or go to one of their three spas.. its a must try and the people are also awesome!! "Situated in beautiful natural surroundings, woke up one day by howler monkey cries, saw beautiful birds flew by room, watched a sloth moving down the tree while soaking in relaxing hot springs, relaxing massage while listening to nature sound was heavenly. Service was good, comfortable room. The only regret we have is getting sick after having dinner on site. "

"The view at this resort was beautiful. The pool was a big hit with our family and ee werw able to get a taste of the wildlife (toucans, other birds). The rooms were beautiful, clean and spacious.
