"My husband and I had the most relaxing night at Gora Hanaougi. The staff were the most attentive and kind. The kaiseki dinner and the Japanese style breakfast were both outstanding, full of local ingredients. The onsen was obviously the highlight of the stay. The private onsen in our room was quite the experience. The room had open air onsen, so we could get fresh air, but it’s covered so even during the torrential rainfall, we could enjoy the hot bath while listening to the rain. All in all,...

"We appreciated the kind staff and comfortable room and beds at this property, and that it gave us easy access to nearby restaurants and Fuji viewpoints. No trouble at all with parking, and an enjoyable hot spring bath upstairs for guests to enjoy. The restaurant did get extremely busy for breakfast and we had to wait a short time to get our seats, would suggest going very early (before 7) or toward the end (after 830). I would also suggest to the hotel to have all the food covered behind sneeze...

"This Dormy Inn was exceptional. The two hot springs baths and the sauna on the top floor were the highlight for us. We also enjoyed the complimentary ice cream in the evening and a free chair massage while our laundry was being done. After long travels in Japan, this Dormy Inn felt particularly welcoming with the complimentary lobby drinks and the complimentary ramen in the evening as well as all of the above mentioned conveniences. We will definitely stay here again if our travels bring us back...
