"They offer free afternoon dessert and all day cofffee and water. Very comfortable bed, massage chair and hot springs. Only minor issue is too many people in Breakfast area, guess that means how popular the hotel is."

"Close to Kyoto station Shinkansen exit. Seven eleven in the same building as the hotel. Hotel breakfast was terrific with lots of Kyoto specialities to choose from, as well as Western breakfast food. Room was very clean. Very convenient for traveling around the city as we could hop on several busses or the subway at the station. "

"Umekoji station is just 1 stop away from Kyoto station about a 5 min ride on the local train. The hotel is located right across the Umekoji station exit/entrance about a 3min walk across Umekoji park. Lawson store is right next door so easy to get snacks/food, they even have a door straight into the hotel which you access with your room key. There weren't restaurants close to the hotel so we caught the train to Kyoto station for our evening meals. The breakfast buffet was simple but adequate...

"We stayed here as part of a longer stay in Japan. The check in process was smooth. Upon arrival, our luggage was already delivered and sent straight to our room. Front desk staff speaks pretty good English. We LOVE that the washing machine wash and heat at the same time. It's located in the room so free of service. You can use the detergent provided, but we like to use our own. You throw it in and it washed and dry on its own. Takes around 4 hours though because we have thick clothes. Maybe it...
