"Excellent location, near a subway station, shops, and easy eat restaurant and a bit away from all the madness of Kyoto. This hotel has a great vibe, the lounge eith music, free drinks and snacks, was a real bonus. The room was spacious and very comfortable. For the price, this was incredibly good value. "

"Liked - Unique design of rooms and common areas. Luggage self storage area is awesome! Strength of shower water pressure was outstanding. Not very fond of very limited breakfast selection. Also mattress does not stay in place if you sit up in bed. Wish there was a little more storage room. Need more towel hanging area. "

"Excellent location as we took Hankyu train from Osaka and Kintetsu train to Nara. Karasuma subway entrance was right at front of Hotel. Next door was the Nishijin Museum and downstairs was Starbucks! Staff was so helpful, especially with sending luggage by courier service. "

"It was a very cozy. I stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed my stay. Complimentary breakfast buffet every morning and really friendly staff. Has a washer dryer at the hotel and is right across the street from a couple grocery stores."

"The staff was excellent and so helpful. The location is perfect to catch the 207, 202, 208 bus to multiple temples, shopping districts, and other tourist spots. It's very close to Kyoto station and was convenient to take the Shinkassen bullet train to Tokyo. The buffet breakfast was excellent offering Japanese and western food. The quality and quantity of the food was excellent. Overall extremely satisfied and of course will stay here again next time in Kyoto. "
