"We are a family of 4 and we booked 2 rooms. The service was incredible from start to finish. Aya and Rodrigo go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. There was also a young Japanese man, I forgot his name. He was the sweetest person you will ever meet. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The neighborhood is very quiet and a little bit away from the city, but there are places to eat within walking distance. I would stay here again if we ever came back to Kyoto!"

"Room was spacious, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great amenities. The area/street was quiet but the rooms soundproofing are not great and I could hear noise from adjacent rooms. May need a taxi or spend time in transit to go site seeing, but some places are walkable. I enjoyed the outside bath even on rainy nights, as it was under cover. Overall enjoyed my stay here."

"I like that I get to experience a nice Kyoto neighborhood. The service could be improved. I felt like the staffs were not friendly every time I said hi. They also turn off the AC in the middle of the might and even if it runs, it’s usually very light so I try to turn on the fan at the same time to avoid sweating. However, it’s hard to sleep due to the fan noises. "

"I stayed at Suzuki Guesthouse for three nights while visiting Kyoto. The staff is kind and help you as much as possible for any demand! There are a few nearby activities that will liven up your experience, and it's easy to get anywhere in Kyoto from Suzuki Guesthouse. Beds are very comfortable. Living room is welcoming.
