"This is my fourth time in Tokyo and first time staying in Ueno. Tosei Hotel Cocone Ueno Okachimachi was at a very good location, close to the JR line which made travel with 3 younger children just that bit more easy. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. The only drawback was the washing/drying machines that always seemed to be busy, but you can check on their status through the website. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. We will stay again. "

"The staffs were extremely courteous and helpful. They go the extra miles even to help you with luggages to the street and taxis. They also helped reserved taxi transport to the airport and talked to the driver in Japanese the airport and terminal to drop us off."

"It provides a free shuttle from/to the Shinagawa Station (like every 10-15 min) and basic breakfast from 6:30 to 9:00. The Walkable neighborhood (well, I guess most of Japan is pretty walkable) is near a monorail station, 7-11, a grocery market, and restaurants. The bathroom is small, and the room doesn't offer anything special but is well-maintained and clean. "

"Our room came equipped with a small, equipped kitchenette and washing/drying machine as well. Location was perfect, just a 5 minute walk away from the nearest subway station and also 5 minute walk away from the bus route. It's a quiet neighborhood, with a drugstore, 24 hours supermarket and convenience stores within 5 minutes walk. Omotesando Hills & the Harajuku neighborhood were also a 15 minutes walk away or could also be reached via public transport. "

"Not impressed with service (when compared to the amazing service that you often get in most other Japanese hotels), I asked if they could help us with a cab and they said they had a charge for that help. It was a minimal (500 yen) charge but it was more about the principal for us. DIdn’t see washer/dryer which we often find in Japanese hotels (we use those often), and breakfast Buffett was not worth the money, unless you like Chinese/japanese breakfast. "Great little hotel in heart of Ginza. The rooms are tiny but likely the norm for Ginza. Although the room is small it is setup well and everything works efficiently from light switches on the headboard to electrical outlets on the desk and tiny drawers for some smaller clothing items. We had breakfast included in the hotel restaurant and the food was very good. We would definitely stay here again!"
