"Check in process was confusing. We are family of 5, and when making the reservation, I had to book two rooms, one parent and some children in each room. This apparently resulted in two separate bookings as seen by the front desk, under different names. I had to show the receptionist the email confirmation and ultimately he was able to dig into what had happened and get us checked in. Perhaps the hotel does not get many families with 3 young children checking in? The hotel corridors, where...

"Hotel is located perfectly for a short stay/zoo trip. Free parking and no need to move your car as you can make a short walk from the hotel to the entrance. Two restaurants and a indoor pool. Advise to book meals and pool in advance."

"Good sized family room with comfortable beds and well stocked tea/coffee. Very friendly staff. Fantastic pool, sauna and fully equipped gym with sensible, early morning to late evening opening times. Didn’t use dining facilities as there is so much choice in Brighton. "

"The lift has been out of action for some time due to a major fault , we were e mailed twice before our arrival to warn us of this. Brilliant communication , as we both are able bodied it was not an issue , as we were on the 5th floor the manager insisted he took our luggage up to the room and apologised about the lift issue which we already knew . A very nice breakfast, we will stay there again."
