The location is great but this hotel has seen better days. The rooms are dark and stuffy with no air movement. We had a spider living in our aircon vent. The walls have scuffs and dings and the shower is way too small. Highly overpriced for the rooms. The lobby for this hotel is all smoke and mirrors as the rooms don’t match it. Accessing the parking (paid for) below the hotel is a nightmare as the access card never works and then you have to buzz the front desk who just sound irritated. Same when trying to get into the lift lobby to access the hotel. We have stayed here multiple times and I think this might have been the last time.

The room was noisy, also the air conditioning didn't work properly. The fact you have to pay £10 per hour to use the spa & swimming pool is unbelievable as i paid circa £230 for my room !!!!

Stayed two nights, a Friday and Saturday, nothing wrong with the hotel and staff but my ⭐️⭐️ rating was due to noise, loud music, from the hotels bar until 1am. In my opinion the priority for a hotel is to ensure that guests get a good nights sleep so I find it inexplicable that they allow this. And my room was on the third floor so who knows what it sounds like on the first or second!

Hotel was good and convenient for shopping. Room small and very hot, also dim lighting. Breakfast was average, food could have been hotter, the size of the dining area was not big enough for the amount of guests. Would not make a return visit.

Overall the hotel was good. The bed was comfy and the bathroom is well done. The food at breakfast time was decent, not just cheap stuff from a food wholesaler. Downsides: my room - 139 - had a lot of noise from the entrance area, and lots of light all night from a big pendant in the lounge. Also, the room smelled of really strong cleaning chemicals. Having said that, I would stay here again.

They charge £16/night for car park. The - car was dirty and flooded and felt creepy and unsafe ( you know the the creepy car parks in horror movies. Apart from it's proximity to Guildford town centre- I won't be staying again.
