"This was a very good no-frills property. All I needed was a clean basic room to sleep in with all the standard amenities and a basic fitness center. The staff was helpful when needed. The location is very convenient to the downtown Chicago sights, shopping, dining and the river. There was equipment in the fitness center that was not working (a treadmill), and the cable machine lacked some essential hand grips. The lobby was bright, clean, and always seemed safe and lively.
