"The Metro Art Hotel was a lovely oasis in San Juan. Affordability was of high importance but I didn’t want that to mean substandard accommodations. While the entry to the hotel is nothing to speak of, the staff, whether greeting us on our arrival at midnight or during the day, was wonderful. Friendly and very helpful. "When the entire island Puerto Rico had a black out, fortunately my hotel had its own generators, so didnt affect my stay. I was able to find street parking for my car rental, available wash and dry machine. House keeping on point. I didnt see any bugs in my room. The area is also more on the quiet side. "

"We were well taken care of from the moment we arrived. Due to a blackout we were moved to the Oliver Hotel because they still had power. The staff made the transition smooth and effortless. "
