"It was ok. Nice ocean views that what I book with you…. but needs a lot of attention like cleaning maintenance and the enter to the property is to bad a lot of holes to get in to the property. At least make a drive way. Food was ok. But coffee on a foam cup?? Really?? Drinks really bad. "

"The staff was amazing but my mom got stuck in the elevator for approx 10 mins and they put us up in the 10 floor which is the top floor not including the rooftop and there was a lot of noise and movement one night that went on u til I called downstairs and they had the noise stop. I believe some workers were moving tables and chairs and other heavy things around "

"Overall a good stay. Clean room, comfortable bed although no fitted sheets, nice balcony to enjoy the ocean view. Hotel a bit dated but located on the boardwalk. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Only issue was the drain smells - sink needs a plug. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend. "

"This hotel was very nice, the staff was always helpful and courteous. It is a beautiful historic building which they have preserved its uniqueness and beauty, but it doesn't have any of the modern amenities. If you are on the second floor, be ready to do some good exercise by climbing the steps several times a day as you need it. The main building doesn't have central A/C, and it stays for the most part cool, but Merida is extremely hot. The rooms have an AC unit, but our room's a/c didn't work...
