"Great staff and location! The property is smaller than advertised, but the amenities are all clean and excellent. There were plenty of options for breakfast, though most were Japanese and not to my liking. I loved the coffee and juice options, but had to find food elsewhere once we left the hotel. The infinity pool is excellent with a great view looking over the water and Taketomi Island! The only complaint I have is that our hotel room was infested with small ants that would pop up...

"La Teada is a beautiful resort, our room had clearly been remodeled not so long ago and was quite clean comfortable. The staff were also friendly and helpful. The resort grounds were also very natural and beautiful. The bath house was also wonderful. On the negative side, I was sad we couldn't see more of the ocean from our room. Also, the resort is extremely stingy with their facial tissues. The tissues in the room were so small, they were difficult to use, like one regular-sized tissue cut...

"Highly recommended. The house's owner: Hiro-san was super friendly, welcoming and amazing guy! During our check-in, he found out it was our very 1st time visiting Ishigaki island so he gave us a very detailed guide & recommendations including: sunrise/sunset time, precautions for the ocean, island geography, etc. Best condensed 15-mins Ishigaki guide from a person living there that beats everything you could find online! "
