"Hotel New Wakasa lifts the fame of Japanese hospitality to another level. I have never been so welcomed by a hotel where their offering and servicing is so customer oriented, leaving a very impressive memory from start til checking out The quality on the catering side was slightly below par but was justified by the price they charged. All in all, it is a very nice accommodation to relax and the experience was well above expectations "

"You get what you pay for. For a budget room it was great. Initially booked as a dayvstay due to flight time, however stayed an additional night. The overall stay was lovely. Comfortable room with air conditioning, fridge and TV. Private bathroom, which was functional, however needed some tlc. Room size, and decor was large. Great pool to have a dip. Walking distance to food and beach."
