"Probably the best stay in mexico. It’s not pretentious, it has a homey vibe and the owner is hands-on of the property. Its a distance from the shore but walkable which I like, away from loud music and party. Thank you for having us Felipa!"

"The property itself was very nice inside the unit, definitely off the beaten path but for the price we couldn’t have asked for more, friendly staff even with language barrier. Unfortunately the pool was being filled at time of arrival and not available until the following day. There was confusion with our booking as I had received confirmation from Expedia and that I could pay upon arrival at property, however when we arrived they said we didn’t have a reservation as payment was not processed...

"I have been coming here for many, many years. The hotel and grounds are immaculate. Housekeeping is great! The staff is unfailingly polite and helpful; always ready with a smile and kindness. "Took the family for week and we all really enjoyed! I would highly recommend the Maya palace to any family. Beautiful pool, very quiet at night and very clean. The beach is beautiful and the staff is great. If I were to recommend anything to anyone, it would be to make sure you book your reservations for dinner as early as possible. The food at each restaurant was fantastic! "
