"Full kitchen facilities , good for those traveller stop 1 night and have meals at own"

"My spouse and I booked the Fosshotel Hellnar as a stop on our Iceland road trip. It ended up being the perfect location to stop after 1 day travel from Reykjavik and partway around the Snaefellsnes peninsula. We were cold and tired by that point and the Fosshotel was so comfortable on our arrival. The fireplace in the lobby was very inviting. The room was spacious, comfortable and the heated bathroom floor tiles were such an appreciated luxury to us that day. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel...

"FOOD AMAZING. MUST TRY"

"The property is beautiful and the staff was so friendly and helpful. And, i have to say that Clara at the front desk was the absolute best in terms of trying to help us with anything we needed from hiking recommendations to restaurants to anything else we needed. There are fabulous hikes right from the property and easy access to the nearby glacier and other adventures. Lastly, the food was really good! And, the chef was willing to be flexible with the menu items to meet our dietary...

"Quaint little cillage"

"The area by this hotel is amazing. It was clean and nice, though on the smaller side. Hot water is limited but shouldn’t be an issue if you take quick showers. "

"The location of the hotel is located the north west corner of the Peninsula, you can see a mega sky that you may be never saw before. The servicer is friendly, I would like to recommend this property to everyone."

"The staff was exceptionally friendly. Room was very tidy and the bed was like a cloud compared to the place we came from. The baked goods from the cafe were delicious. The wind was quite fast the night we stayed and you could hear it in the vent in the bathroom but shutting the door did a good enough job to quiet it down a good bit. Would stay here again if I had the chance "

"I like all the antique setting. It made me feel back to grandma's house. It made me feel home. We have difficulty to turn on stove and the manager showed up quickly to show us about the stove. There are washroom on every floor and several showers in the basement. "

"Incredibly cute house and very nice property. Nice to have access to kitchen and dining area. It is however an incredibly old house, which means you can hear everything - made us very aware of any noise we made - talking, walking, etc. Very glad we stayed here as was a very unique property, just something to keep in mind as felt very aware of any sounds we made. "Ok, this is a "country" hotel. It is more like cabin buildings with multiple rooms per each building. The room was clean and comfortable with heated floor in the bathroom....nice. This hotel also has a cooking area in case you wanted to prepare your own meals along with a restaurant (which we did not eat at). It was comfortable and cozy and the small waterfall in the back of the reception building was nice."
