"I was so pleasantly surprised how wonderful this hotel was. Staff were particularly kind and helpful. While an older hotel it was impeccably clean and well kept. The room was very quiet, black-out shades were ideal. The doorman was an unexpected plus. Very close to 79th st subway stop."

"This property provides easy access to Hudson Yards. It doesn't seem like a Courtyard - more like a modern boutique hotel at a good price point for NYC. My room smelled very strongly of cleaning chemicals, which was difficult to alleviate without windows that open. I was a solo female traveler and felt very safe. My view faced 10th Avenue, which I liked and the room was very quiet. There are numerous dining options within a couple of blocks. The front desk staff were very friendly. I will definitely return to this hotel. "
