"I recently had a disappointing experience at La Quinta. After a long journey, I arrived at 2:22 PM, only to be told by the front desk staff, Tobin, that I couldn’t check in until 3 PM. The response was unwelcoming, condescending, and bossy. When I asked if I could check in at 2:58 PM, I was sternly told “NO.” However, when I returned at 2:55 PM to get in line, she ( Robin) was accepting guests. "It's a decent hotel, and you can tell they are working to upgrade. Still feels "tired" in some areas, and not everything about the property leaves you with warm fuzzies. Could be great someday, but for now, it was just fine."
