"We had a wonderful stay here! Front staff were exceptional, so friendly! The location was amazing, right near subway and Staten Island ferry! It could use a bit of tlc in some of the building but overall I found it to be clean and well kept, would definitely stay here again if I come back to New York!"

"The hotel is really good. We stayed over New Year and it’s far enough out to be good value for money but close enough via the subway to be well connected to the key parts of Manhattan. Room cleaning was missed one day during our stay but that’s the only negative I can record. Staff were very helpful. Drinks and food we had were good. 3 minute walk to Grand St station. "Amazing staff and greeting. Loved the more casual vibe and the desk staff were amazing. Disappointed that the rooftop bar was not open as we had booked the hotel specifically and were told when we checked in that it would be open. "I was leary about booking at this location because of the bad reviews. I am glad I booked it. The location was great, the staff was amazing and the rooms were great. The breakfast buffet was pretty good compared to other hotels I have been at. The selections were good and for the most part everything tasted good especially the small muffins and small apple pastry. Coffee was alright but I am picky with my coffee. I would stay here again. "
