Find Hotel with a Concierge in Washington, MD

"It is a large hotel conveniently close to many offices and tourist attractions. The hotel was fine though not exceptional. Among the positives I would include the location and the ease of getting food and grocery deliveries. Among the quibbles is that the reception seemed short staffed and perhaps as a consequence the staff didn't seem overeager to help. Thw gym is not open 24 hours. The north and the south winga being not connected at higher floors leads to some inconvenience."

"The airline is a different story. I was forced to pay an additional $400 to select seats. When purchasing the package I ensured to select a flight that gave me the ability to pick my seats since I have small children. Horrible experience and to put an exclamation on the trip I am still at the airport as the flight has been delayed multiple times. Never again!"

"Salamander is a lovely hotel, but it had a bad odor, like sewage, during our entire stay. Other than that, it really was a nice place, so I hope they can get the sewage issue under control. "

"It is a very nice hotel. There is no concierge and the staff is lacking in local knowledge. There was no one to offer restaurant ideas or to assist in identifying things to see or do. It is actually in a good location and most things are within reasonable walking distance provided you can figure out which direction to walk."

"It was pretty nice. Me and my husband went around 4 hours early and we couldn’t checkin but they took our luggage so we could walk around. It was close to restaurants so that makes everything easy for us. Good location. I would definitely come back."
