"We stayed recently to celebrate two important events, and our experience at this hotel made everything perfect! We could have sat forever watching the coaly Tyne from the 5th floor. "I wanted to stay a extra day and zoe the reception supervisor was very helpful in helping me to achieve this with no problems i would highly recommend this hotel right next door to the train station and a few minutes to city center and also i found all staff to be helpful and friendly cant wait to visit again hopefully in july "

"Little confusion at check in and iwa sgiven the wrong form by mistake but quickly rectified so no harm done. The room was large with double bed and a single bed. This is our second stay here so what we expected. I love the recycling idea leave recycle things on desk and they will put in proper places also love the do not disturb sign so they cleaners dont go in when its not needed you can collect extra tea/coffee etc from reception as well as towels loo roll etc and it saves the cleaners cleaning a room that doesnt need it so they have longer for the rooms that need deep clean ready for the next visitor. There is a small bath as well as shower with great water pressure. My only dislike is the toilets are fixed to the wall so the cleaners can clean under them easily great idea i just always felt like it might snap off my own paranoia not a fault with fixings. I do think they should provide a bath mat on all rooms as the floor can be slippy and a hand rail next to toilet for ease of use when you have mobility issues. Only other fault toilet roll kept falling off the holder but thats just the design of it."

"Good stay overall. No major faults or complaints. Staff were friendly on arrival, room was clean, beds comfy. Only fault was my Mum broke her toe as they hadn’t put the bed fully together and she hadn’t noticed until she tripped on it and her toe is now broke lol. But apart from that the stay was good. "
