"This hotel and the women who worked at the front desk were amazing! The room was absolutely enormous and so cozy and clean. I spent the morning doing a beach cleanup in absolutely horrid weather… Strong wind, rain, and freezing cold. When I got to the hotel, I took a hot bath and the tub was so deep and it was just perfect! I was able to unwind to the fullest before heading back out for the evening. It is also pet friendly and they offered me a dog bed at check in! I didn’t need one but it was a nice perk. I do suggest that if you’re sensitive to sounds, bring ear plugs. The sea lions will sing you a song in the morning. That being said, they do make a point of letting you know that sound travels easily and to be considerate of neighbours / quiet time. Although the room next to me had a family and two dogs, and I didn’t hear them much at all! The hotel is within walking distance from quite a few local businesses and has nice views from the balcony. I will absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Ukee."

"I love staying at the property because it's beautiful, private, dog-friendly, well-equipped with essentials, heated flooring, king bed, early check-ins, friendly staff and great patios. What would make it even better are extra blankets to bring onto the patio while watching the waves and a burner to have the option to make a meal on those longer stays. It was a wonderful stay! "Great property and price for the location. The rooms include everything you’d need to “live” for your stay. There’s a stove/oven, fridge/freezer, etc and a laundromat close by. I would happily stay here again next time I am in the area. The motel is right by the marina and within walking distance to the shops in Ucluelet. I observed motel staff painting the motel while I was there so it is clear that the management cares a lot about the upkeep of the building. Book early as they fill up fast. "
