Beautiful view of the rainforest and the ocean from our balcony. Fantastic view from the cold plunge and the hot tub. Beautiful art displayed on the lobby walls as well as sculptures. While this property is amazing, staff very friendly/professional, great architecture and the location incredible there are a couple of niggly things to mention. 1) The internet is appallingly slow. I wasn't using it to stream movies, just typical day to day activities on my computer. The odd video on Facebook was the maximum demand I placed on the system. Having said this, maybe high-speed internet is not available in Ucluelet? It is after all very isolated. 2) Beware that housekeeping is provided only every 5 days. 3) The studio suites have next to no space to unpack anything. You will be living out of your suitcase. As mentioned, niggly things in a package that is really worthwhile. We really enjoyed our stay and would return in a flash.

Not happy with my room assignment. I was on the first floor facing trees and very little view of the ocean. In addition, the room had a connecting door through which I could hear the maid next door doing her cleaning. The door between the rooms needs to be more soundproofed. I left one day early. Also it took 2 visits from the maintenance staff to show me how to use the TV remote which had no numbers on it and worked very strangely. The door lock inside the room did not line up with the hole in the door jam. There were renovations going on and the workers got to park their cars nearer the front door than the guests. I would not stay there again.

Truly a surprise at how wonderful this place really was. A perfect romantic getaway or just somewhere to relax in nature. The room was spacious, clean and smelt wonderful! The staff were also very kind. Would love to come back. Only suggestion for staff is to have more takeout food or snacks available in the tuck shop for guests, there were limited options.
