"The Marina Hotel is a GREAT place to stay in Reykjavik; it's close to the water and a marina, but also in walking distance to the center of town and has numerous amazing restaurants all in walking distance too; plus the bar/restaurant inside the Hotel is excellent also. It has a unique and very cozy style with a big fireplace inside the lobby, lots of different rooms for groups to gather if needed, and the staff is super nice. I enjoyed staying there very much for 5 days and would stay there again!"

"We spent one night in Rekyavik, The Edition was in a perfect spot. Walking distance to the town, had all the modern amenities you could ask for. The lobby bar was a nice place to hang out for a bit before heading out for the evening. Breakfast was not included and was very expensive. Overall a pleasant experience."

"Amazing they went above and beyond to help we had a few issues with lost items and they helped us locate them which was kind and less stressful. Maids are lovely and helped with my requests for extra amenities like the tea which is lovely Good sized clean rooms, overall lovely style of hotel and great location "

"Very friendly staff and helpful with suggestions for things to do in and outside town. Rooms are quite nice with comfortable mattresses wonderful bathrooms with high pressure hot water available. The fact that the rooms are right in the middle of the downtown area made for easy access to everything. Three downsides. 1. The buildings for the rooms are scattered around about a km radius from the main city center. But, the lobby is also in a completely different location. Even though I had stayed previously and knew this situation, google maps will lead you astray by taking you to one of the buildings away from the check in lobby and there isn't a good spot to "pull over" and try to figure it out as the downtown parking is awful. 2. Their little "kitchen's" are very minimalistic. No freezer section of their small refrigerators and no oven. We made the mistake of buying some food before arriving that required an oven and had to let that food go to waste. 3. Parking is REALLY bad. The first night, I had to park the car nearly .5 km away from where we were staying. Later, I learned when and where to park that would get us within 100 m. Fortunately, there is an app called "Parka" which will allow you to deal with the tolls easily. "

"The whole team at Fosshotel were honestly a blessing to my trip in Iceland. They were on call to assist with all my requirements months in advance, even until my last checkout at the hotel. The staff members are so lovely and treat you very professionally but also like good friends. I am so grateful to the team for making this trip so so special and really going the extra mile for some of the requirements I had. The facilities are very good, the hotel is in the perfect location and easy to get to. The rooms are well kept, clean and spacious. I have been to some amazing hotels all around the world however nothing can compare to quality service and that is exactly what this hotel delivers. I will forever be grateful and most definitely be returning to Iceland, where I will be staying at this hotel again! Thank you all so much."
