"Hotel is right at Puerta del Sol, probably the busiest area in Madrid. Hotel and staff are great. Lots of places to eat and you can walk to most turist points. Metro is right there too. The only issue is if you want to sleep at night. It is very loud past midnight, sometimes until 130am with illegal live performers and loud speakers. Bring ear plugs if you are planning on sleeping. I stayed 5 nights and 4 were like that."

"This is a remarkably clean and quiet hotel in a busy retail and dining neighborhood. We stayed there twice. The entrance is narrow, but the hotel is solid. While the don’t offer breakfast in the formal European sense, there is fruit (bananas, apples, oranges, pears, etc.) all day, coffees, tea, and cookies all day, and a goodie bag is on your door each AM with alternating donuts and croissants. There is a mini-refrigerator in the room. Highly recommended."
