Reminiscent of a college frat house
I stayed at Yiju the night before I had to run the Toronto marathon and I got minimal sleep. There were people in and out of the townhouse and the walls were paper thin. The person next to me was sighing or something so loudly and it was very alarming. I felt incredibly unsafe. The lock on the bedroom door was just a simple, easy to open lock, and the lock to the outside was continually left unlocked by other guests. The neighborhood was also not the greatest, so that was alarming as well. The establishment and room were not overly clean. There were hairs in the bed and on the towels and a dirty tissue in the bathroom. I could have probably handled staying there if I had another guest with me, but alone, it was not acceptable. I left a day early so that I could get some sleep.

Spend a little extra somewhere else.
Couldn't even sit on the toilet without turning to the right because the sink was in the way. Room numbers a directions are written on masking tape and stuck to the walls. There is no service since there is no desk or staff. Calling their phone sends you right to voicemail. I walked down the next street over one night and a bunch of people approached me to sell me drugs. No tv, air conditioning, soap, or any extras you assume would be in a room.
The distance from the toilet to the sink is about the width of my hand.

Check in was a bust and we basically was left to sleep in our car with no help from property. Dont do it and expedia needs to take them off the list. Not the first review like this, i should've took that other one seriously

Service sucks! No one answer the phone, voice mailbox full cannot even leave message! Electricity ran out one night and we have no choice but to check out 7 days earlier, when I sent emails to them about the electricity issue and early check out, they did not reply me!!! I will further complain this lousy guest house!!!

We were very disappointed in this property, the photos were nothing like the actual facilities the property is very rundown. Fortunately we got a full refund as we only stayed there for approx 5minutes the staff were very understanding

My room was clean and renovated. it was really good except the size it is smaller than the presented images. location is very good except that you have to be at home maximum by 11 pm. I feel little bit insecure area with a lot of homeless guys at night.

3 night stay
Stayed for 3 nights. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was excellent. Furniture a bit dated but adequate for needs. Location is good only 30 min walk from train station. Plenty of bars & restaurants not far away. There is no TV in room & also air conditioning is communal for the whole building.

Check in was delayed and I was forced to wait in my car out front for close to an hour. It's not a hotel as advertised but just rooms in a town house. The room I got was a converted attic which was small, low ceiling, awkwardly shaped and had paper taped up covering the windows to keep the sun out. The shower also didn't work properly. Only extreme hot and extreme cold. My girlfriend and I left after the first night because we couldn't handle it anymore. I contacted the owner about a refund so hopefully that happens but I won't hold my breath.

Unsure of guest house accomodation?
For the room price is ok; however, I didn't expect that the least is not provided like bathroom toiletries. I need to call the care taker if they have a hair dryer and I took it at the first floor with the instruction. Im not sure if this is how a guesthouse accommodation is all about.

We were supposed to stay in the standard room but we received what it seemed to be the economy room instead. The room looked nothing like the pictures. The wall had a lot of wholes. Shower handle was loose and it was impossible to control the temperature

The access code we were given to get inside was wrong, we were locked out at midnight. We would have been stranded if another resident didn't let us in. the property contact # was not answered and we could not leave a voicemail. very frustrating.
