The King-bed room had everything we needed and the view, even in winter, was great. Two nice surprises: the carpet in the room was replaced with hardwood flooring which seemed much cleaner. Also the traditional shower in a bath tub had been replaced by a spacious walk-in shower.Nice. Lots of food options, besides those in the hotel. We had a craft beer and dinner next door at the Amsterdam Brewery, and all-day breakfast across the street at Golden Egg. Parking was expensive (it is Toronto) but easy to get to. Area is very walkable.

Great location. However, we were told our room was not ready at check in and they could not give us a time. Given we were a one night stay - in town for a show and needed to be able to check in after a long journey to shower and be out again I was firced to insist. At which point, they found us a room that was ready. Wecwere 2 hours after stated check in time!

Great hotel for the price and right on the water which I’m sure is nice in the summer vs a polar vortex. The streetcar stops almost right outside and takes you right into Union Station. From there it’s really easy to get around. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but definitely not horrible. I would stay here again as air is great value for the rate.

The bad: Bathroom door hinge was very rusty. The turns in the parking garage are very tight and steep which makes parking difficult. You have to take 2 separate elevators to get to your room from the parking garage. There are no waste bins in the common areas. The bed was too firm. The good: It was clean and well supplied. Pretty convenient lovataion and I felt aafe the whole time.
