This was a very clean and well-kept hotel. It was a much better value than my previous stay at the Fairmont Royal York, as the rooms and hotel facilities were a lot nicer and more modern. The hotel’s location was also great — just a few minutes’ walk from Union Station and also very close to the St. Lawrence Market. I really enjoyed the spacious and clean fitness facility. Only downside was that they did not offer me an Expedia VIP benefit, and I forgot to ask about it.

Staff arranged a wonderful surprise during my stay — my partner and I were celebrating our anniversary. Everything was wonderful. We used the gym; equipment was in great condition however the air quality was very dense which made it hard to breathe… left me nauseated and unwell— but we weren’t here for the gym. Overall pleasant stay.

walkable to nearby buildings. place was left unsafe, bathroom smelled like urine, and some hair was left in the sink. TV was left on with baby cartoon tv show and it was loud on the tv as soon as we walked in. The door doesn’t fully close and there a gap. We weren’t happy with our stay. Wasn’t worth the price we paid.

I liked the safety with the card to use the elevator. We had some interesting experience with the staff super judgy and rude when travelling to get there and being hounded for the deposit for the room when on the train trying to get there. Due to my friend arriving early to get the room decorated, it was a bit messy and the staff was very judgy and rude about it. It could have been smoother on their end understanding the situation and being patient and accommodating due to the situation juggling. Due to being flustered to get there quickly and leaving my phone on the desk got some strange looks which was very distasteful. Too bad cause it was a very nice hotel and we enjoyed the stay other than the bad initial experience. Front desk should take it down a notch.
