"Staff was amazing and we had a great time! The resort is super clean and food was great everywhere we went! One call out, we were not aware that the casino now allows smoking. Compared to Vegas Casinos, it didn't feel smokey and it actually smelled really nice (they had fragrance pumping), however all the restaurants open up to the floor and after two days we were over seeing the same casino over and over and the smell. "Since we live in San Diego we often visit Borrego Springs since it is only 1.30 hours away. It is a wonderful place to visit, especially during the winter months when the weather is just right for hiking. We always stay at Palm Canyon Hotel as it is centrally located and offers an interesting kind of wild west motif.
