"Love love love this place. When I’m here for work, they always put us up at the hotel W or other nice corporate hotels. When I come to visit on my own, I love staying at this old motor Lodge. It’s an oasis in the middle of downtown with a surface parking lot and a pool. It’s famous for being a favorite hotel for bands to stay and other creative types. "Stay away from here! Too dangerous. Never experienced anything like this before. The inn was surrounded with wanderers and trespassers shouting and fighting. The building/parking lot was dark with no valid lights. The office was closed, lights off, and vacant to the point that we did not attempt to get out of the car for check-in. Broken glasses in the parking lots and the roads surrounding. Safer to sleep on the streets by Ghirardelli Square."

"Two night stay- property was great, but be aware it’s a block or two from a rough part of town. Good security though and inside parking. EV charging too. "

"You get what you pay for here. Its nothing special, but if you're just looking for a place to lay your head at night it's perfectly suitable. Dish TV was nice for the minimal time that was spent in the room. Yes the surrounding area is slightly sketchy but nothing that you wouldn't see in any other city where homeless and drug use is prevelant. "

"Fantastic service for the price, any issue I had was immediately fixed. Always came back to a serviced room without even asking, which is nice. "
