Handlery Union Square Hotel

3.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (2322)
"We enjoyed our stay. It was conveniently located to everything we intended on doing. The rooms were relatively clean. A couple of things to note, if you choose a premiere room they are located on the other side of the property and it’s a bit of a hike. They do tell you an alternate way once you get settled though. The rooms are very warm. Luckily they have fans and the shower head is very low. I’m only 5’5 and I felt they were extremely low. All of these things would not deter us from staying...

King George Hotel

3.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (1975)
"We've stayed here quite a few times now, and have always enjoyed our stay. The ceiling fan is a major plus for us, as is the incredibly comfy beds, and clean rooms. Another plus is the staff - friendly, helpful, and efficient. When we had last stayed, last year, there was an issue with the elevator that caused it to be out of order almost the whole time we were there. Happy to report no issues this time around! Wonderful stay! Our go-to hotel whenever we are in SF"

Union Square Plaza Hotel

2.0 star property
7.2 out of 10, Good, (1000)
"Nice and quiet inside, safe. Locked and watched front door. Very loud outside all night but we expected most of it, no a/c so open window hear all- try just bathroom window and get fan as close to drown out. No space no table or counter, so tight if 3 people (2a 1k). Buy cold brew for frig cause no microwave. No wash cloths - so pack em. We are not the stay in room type and out 5-7am each day and it was great for that and we would stay again "
Union Square Plaza Hotel

Hotel Abri - Union Square

3.5 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (1000)
"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Received a nice gift bag at check-in. Room was clean and bathroom was updated (some of these older hotels have bathrooms that are clean but a lot more lived-in than our bathroom at Abri). Overall, great room, and great location given the price (which was very reasonable). Oh, and close to Union Square and Market Street, so location was great."
