"The lobby floors were concerning when we first arrived...condition was rough. The lobby furniture was fine, the check in desk great. Staff was phenomenal. "Perfect location. Building was older like most in that area but the rooms were nice, clean, and spacious. Bed was very comfortable. No view at all, overlooking a small courtyard and other rooms, helped with the quiet though. Bathroom door was odd. A big, heavy rolling door with no lock, that sometimes rolled open at inconvenient times. Otherwise very good, and would stay there again. "

Unfortunately, the bistro downstairs "Is now closed" so there are no dining options. We took the BART from SFO, and after dark the area is like any metropolis (LA/NYC) with homeless and sirens at all hours of the night.
