"Room was lovely, spacious , bathroom was spacious and clean. Shower was great. Building is really old so big high ceilings old windows etc . Would definitely stay again. We had breakfast which was great apart from our toast arrived some time after breakfast, seems a bit petty but they weren’t busy and a really simple fix, they also only brought white so I had to go and find someone for some brown. However, the breakfast was nice. "

"Excellent food. Fabulous service from reception, bar and restaurant. Beautiful location with amazing views. Friendly hospitable staff. Plenty of parking. Room was comfortable and spacious. It’s an old building with the related issues (you’d creak a bit if you were that old!). The breakfast buffet was limited however the cooked breakfast food more than made up for this. The evening meals were outstanding. We were part of a group of 6 and none of us were disappointed with the choice or quality. "

"Stay was lovely and facilities, staff very good. We had room service try w first night due to late arrival and was good. 2nd night we went to eat in the car/restaurant but the options for children were nil, I would have expected some children friendly options even if just a reduced size/cost adult meal. The food on the 2nd night was poor, cold, under cooked and not appetising. The soup I ordered was totally different when it came and was cold. Otherwise a lovely stay. Good rooms l and the pool...

"This property was one of a kind!!! Absolutely amazing!! Staying overnight in a castle, felt like royalty :) Ate at the brasserie, excellent food and service. Only down side, couldn’t turn heat on in our room, a bit cold Walking through corridors in a castle was exciting!!"
