"My husband and I came to South Lake Tahoe primarily to ski. We stayed 4 nights at Margaritaville Resort. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. It was very busy on weekend. There are too many kids staying here. We did not like the high resort and valet parking fees. "

Very minor negatives: the back patio was almost completely frozen, couldnt even walk on it. The lights in the back are 24 hours so had to use the blackout curtain. Zero breakfast in the lobby. But to be clear, nothing that would prevent me from coming back. "

"The location was within walking distance to the marina and several good restaurants, including Italian and Asian. The property was also peaceful with convenient parking. The courtyard was beautiful and the hot tube was quiet and relaxing. We would stay there again."
