"I've been to KW severals times and avoided this property though it tended to be low cost. This time I stayed there, got a private room. I found it nice. Pools clean, the room quite small but adequate. Good location. I could walk from the Ferry to the room. Duvall and harbor area were close (10 to 15 minutes) but not too close which is good for the noise. Bob's Restaurant was a block away and had great happy hour 5-6. The grounds had several pools and a hot tub. People were friendly. ...

"This was my 3rd time in Key West and the first time at Southwinds with my lifelong best friend of almost 50 years. Couldn’t have asked for better service, accommodations, location, comfort and all-around amazing! I highly recommend Southwinds. Definitely will return! "

"Perfect location if you love the action on Duval St., which i do. Close to restaurants, sightseeing, shopping. Lovely gardens in back and idyllic pool. Good, well staffed breakfast. Friendly front desk. Just avoid room #5. Pretty compact and on a busy hallway. Closing blinds for privacy leaves you in a cave. Cable was out both days i was there if that matters to you. And a loud argument woke me up at 3 a.m. Go for a room farther in back and you will enjoy your stay. "

"We spent 3 days at Parmers. We had the Shark room. 1 bedroom sleeper sofa and 2 baths. Great location by the boat launch. The front bathroom drain went to the ground under the unit so we used the 2nd bathroom. We told the staff while we were there. Very simple breakfast provided, bread English muffins fruit coffee. We looked forward to the daily afternoon cookies and lemonade. Bed was a small queen which was tough if you are used to a king. The grounds are so peaceful. Close enough to other busy...

"We were only in for a night while waiting to go aboard a friends boat for the remainder of the week. It is a quaint hotel, built in 1880. The room was on the small side, the staff were pleasant. As we are early risers we would have preferred the breakfast to be served before 8am but when it was it was ok. The room we had was on the ground floor beside the bird cage and they woke us up even earlier than we would normally wake up. Would recomment people stay back in the rooms around the pool to...
