When in the room there was the sound of water running and this never stopped, even after telling the reception and was told by them that the maintenance people would sort it out, but no, it kept on running! "for a 3 star hotel, the condition of the property seems run down, a renovation would be needed to make this place thrive, beds are well a bed, but not the best at all, night porter walking around woke us up 3 times in the night, not much sound proofing for the rooms "

"Upon arrival the place is just stunning, came to pay for the room only to be told no cash, nothing jumps out on the website to say it’s cashless. This was disappointing to us due to my husband selling motorbike we thought we treat ourselves to a little spa and a night away with the cash., luckily we did have our credit card with us if we didn’t have this we would have in stuck! "If you can look past the area that the 'George Hotel' is in then you have a beautiful old building with a very interesting history behind it. Yes the property could do with some investment and renovation, but the building inside was clean and the rooms were clean. The staff were all very friendly. In its hayday this would have been a wonderful building"
