"This was a fine place to stay at for our trip to Monterey. It was more motel than hotel and I wish I had realized that before booking but I could have done more research on my part. However, we were just looking for a place to lay our heads and it did a fine job at meeting that need. I would also like to say the young lady at the front counter was very polite and professional. "This is my second time here at the hotel. It is a great place if you have children. Our room was spacious and had a small kitchen. The facilities are great and it’s a very convenient location for the beach. Would highly recommend. "

"My sister was with us and the guy at the counter was rude about her being charged a $10 extra fee since we didn’t know if she was going to be coming up north with us. On the website it said children 17 and under are free. Also said extra adult is $5 a person. When brought up to the attention of the guy at the front he was rude and brushed it off saying those fees don’t apply to us. That’s a third party. The room also had not been fully looked over. "COMFORTABLE bed!!! Super soft and comfy. Spacious refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment. Large variety of TV channels. AC and ice machine both work great. MacDonalds directly across the street. Needs a better vending machine selection.. vending machine was empty. "
