"I spent 4 days in this beautiful charming house, and felt home the moment I passed the gate. The house located in the beautiful authentic neighborhood of Santa Teresa is decorated with taste displaying very cozy and clean rooms. A delicious breakfast is served under the trees with a very nice view on the city and I had the chance to see the little monkeys populating Rio while having my morning coffee. "The hotel is up the hill away from the madness of the beach and downtown areas, but still a 15 minute walk to the heart of Gavea and a 15 minute cab ride (download Uber or app called "99" before you go!) to Ipanema and Leblon.
