"I was having a hard time finding a safe , reasonable and well located hotel in Copacabana. Well, Americas fit the bill. Reception is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and air conditioning worked well. Wifi was spotty in the room, but worked very well in reception and in the rooftop pool area. Breakfast had a good selection and hot items changed daily. Room had a safe and the area felt safe at night for a walk to a restaurant or supermarket. Will definitely be back."

"Hotel is located in a good area with few options for restaurant and also grocery shopping near by. The room is nice but noisy, it feels as if people in the hallway are inside your room. One good thing that I really want to share is the water pressure in the shower, it was amazing! One of the best experiences I ever had with showers, this one was amazing! "
