"We enjoyed our stay very much. The grounds are beautiful, with amazing views. The location is very private. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything that we needed. Teens enjoyed the spa, the ping pong table, and frisbee golf. The toaster oven should be replaced as you can’t read the controls because it is so old. We would love to come back."

"we had a great vacation! the property was as advertised: three bedrooms with linens and two baths with lots of towels. the hot tub was super fun both at night under the stars and during the day while bird watching. my family enjoyed the puzzles and games, and we appreciated the bottled water. *it appears that the property is undergoing some renovations (exposed duct work, open ceilings) and everything was a little dusty / dirty. "

"What a wonderful property and even more wonderful host! Amber was incredible. She took the time to show us around and let us meet all of the animals. My sister loved petting Tom the Turkey. He was suprisingly very mellow. But the one who stole the show and I had to stop by to say hello was the sweetest little donkey. Amber also guided us to a beautiful hike called Blue Lady Mine nearby. "We choose Bison Lodge for a family retreat and it was exactly as advertised. Comfortable, spacious, clean and charming in a beautiful and convenient location. The weekend just flew by with so many fun and interesting activities in the Julian area. Having such a great property to return to each day just added to the whole enjoyable experience. "Celebrating a birthday with sons and their families. Plenty of room to spread out, play games, watch a movie or even find a quiet spot to read and enjoy the spectacular view of the lake. We had a bald eagle flying whilst at breakfast and deer just the other side of fence. 12 wild turkeys were wandering up the road as we walked down to the lake. Rather a nice workout after lunch. We all enjoyed playing shuffle board and eating s’mores as the sun was setting round the fire pit. House is very well...

"This little cabin is filled with antiques that remind you of simpler times. It is a great place to retreat from the busyness of life while still being close to Julian and nice hiking trails. Communication with the hosts was great! Check-in and check-out were seamless. The cabin was clean and had everything you need to enjoy your stay. Would recommend!"
