"Friendly staff, especially after a few days in the hotel. Great advice for restaurants. Very clean and excellent location. Incredible views and hikes just outside of the hotel. Dining options around holidays were limited and service was lacking. Perhaps it was due to holidays, but the special dinner was expensive and really did not match our expectations, or depart far from breakfast (which is quite nice). Excellent spa and a good value massages."

A very short walk to Antonio Borges botanical gardens (you must eat lunch at their restaurant- THE BEST). A little longer walk to Arruda Pineapple Plantation which was our favorite plantation.
