"Since I was benefitted from reading others’ comments, want to document my experience in case it is helpful for anyone in future. First, the most positive is the location. To south, it takes 10 minutes to walk to waterfront/downtime. To north, walk less 10 minutes for gas station and a large shopping complex in which you may find food court, grocery store, etc. During peak season, probably convenient to walk around instead driving and trying to find a parking spot. "What a beautiful property! The views are stunning everywhere on the property from the office to the restaurant to the rooms. I stayed in a private pool room and it was perfect. Very clean, smelled lovely, quiet, and relaxing. Room service is fast and the staff is friendly. I wish there was an option to rent a golf cart to use around the property because it was cold when we visited and the walk to get our taxi was torture. But otherwise absolutely no complaints. Can’t wait to visit again. "

A very short walk to Antonio Borges botanical gardens (you must eat lunch at their restaurant- THE BEST). A little longer walk to Arruda Pineapple Plantation which was our favorite plantation.
