"Staff very accommodating. One of our party of 4 had a birthday and a surprise cake appeared in their room that day! Offered us early check in as we arrived on an early morning flight. The restaurant stayed open to accommodate us after a late emergency room visit. Overall extraordinary, friendly service. "

"Friendly staff, especially after a few days in the hotel. Great advice for restaurants. Very clean and excellent location. Incredible views and hikes just outside of the hotel. Dining options around holidays were limited and service was lacking. Perhaps it was due to holidays, but the special dinner was expensive and really did not match our expectations, or depart far from breakfast (which is quite nice). Excellent spa and a good value massages."

"The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very attentive, helpful and friendly. We had wine and beverages in the room that were all complimentary. We ordered room service because we were pretty exhausted from our flight. The food was very good and was delivered quickly. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. There were so many choices and the wait staff was so friendly. The view of the room was fabulous. We would definitely stay again. "

"El hotel está muy bien. Nuevo, comodo y bonito. Bien ubicado. El desayuno excelente. Recomendable. La piscina cubierta esta bien, el spa es sencillo, dolo un jacuzzi para unas 6 persinas, no hay mas. No sexpuede considerar spa. Nobhsy chorros en la piscina.... pero hay sauna. "

"This historical property is located in the Terra Nostra Garden Park. The garden is huge and delightful to explore. Even though the large thermal pool was closed due to renovation, we were able to enjoy the smaller thermal jacuzzis. We also enjoyed the dining room for breakfast and dinner. "

"Since I was benefitted from reading others’ comments, want to document my experience in case it is helpful for anyone in future. First, the most positive is the location. To south, it takes 10 minutes to walk to waterfront/downtime. To north, walk less 10 minutes for gas station and a large shopping complex in which you may find food court, grocery store, etc. During peak season, probably convenient to walk around instead driving and trying to find a parking spot. When staying at other hotels in the tourist areas such as furnas/ sete cidades you have to drive up steep roads daily to traverse in/out of your hotels city.
