Rosemount Hotel

3.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (275)
"Lovely stay at the Rosemount hotel in Pitlochry for some November hikes in the Cairngorns. The staff were lovely, in particular Phie was very friendly and attentive for all our breakfast servings. Delicious and hearty breakfast every morning with decent variety. The room was very cosy with just enough space to dry our wet hiking clothes when we needed. The water pressure in the shower was poor but a good excuse to have a decadent bubble bath! "

Fonab Castle Hotel & Spa

5.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (580)
"Warm welcome awaited us at Hotel combined with a personal walk around hotel and grounds by concierge service. Room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Food at breakfast was delicious and served individually which meant it was hot. Dinner was fantastic with a varied and interesting menu. Service by staff in both restaurant and bar was great without being intrusive. But the star attraction at breakfast, dinner and drinks in the bar was the view."

Atholl Palace Hotel

4.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (918)
"Despite only being available for the first night of a weekend break, the lure of staying at the Atholl Palace Hotel couldn't be resisted. We arrived long before we could check in at 3.30pm, so time was spent using the luxury spa facilites and in the bar. We also had a good wander through the wee museum, which was fascinating! The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The room was spacious and wonderfully decorated, and the bed extremely comfortable. The buffet breakfast...

"Stayed for a couple of days with my husband, mum and dad and small dog. From very start the owners made us feel so welcome. Showed us to our rooms which were of very high standard. Very comfortable bed and good quality linen and pillows. We were unable to eat in the dining area as we had our dog. The owner set up a lovely table at the window in the lounge for us which was very kind. The breakfast was amazing. On the first morning I had smoked salmon and scrambled egg which was delicious.
