Pine Trees Hotel

3.5 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (344)
"We stayed at Pine Trees Hotel for our wedding anniversary. From the moment we walked through the doors the extra thought they have put into the details were evident; from the dog bowls and treats for four legged friends to rain coats and Hunter wellies for the humans to borrow. Having had a recent revamp, the interior design is contemporary chique in deep warm colours without taking the attention away from the original Victorian features. The Pitlochry Hydro Hotel

3.5 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (1001)
"Had a lovely stay with my partner and our dog. The scenic view room was massive and worth paying the extra for. The breakfast buffet was good with all needs catered for. The hotel is extremely dog friendly with dogs being allowed in the bar area. The singer for entertainment was also very good. Only negative is some of the building is looking a little run down but there were signs of maintenance taking place e.g. painting. We loved our stay and would return. "

"We had a lovely room overlooking the river. Breakfast was a tasty feast to set you up for the day with friendly and helpful owners looking after us. The first thing that struck us both on arrival (towards end of November) were the Christmas decorations which were amazing. "

Atholl Palace Hotel

4.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (907)
"Really enjoyed our two-night stay in one of the turret suites. The hotel was still beautifully decorated for Christmas but very peaceful being a few days after Hogmanay. Overall condition of the building is excellent, especially given its age and historic nature, which must make it a real challenge to maintain. Our room, bathroom and the turret lounge above were very clean and well presented. Excellent comfy super-king bed. Public rooms were lovely - warm and welcoming. Swimming pool area...

"Great stay. Our room was large and cozy, with a comfortable bed. Great room amenities and tasty breakfast. However, we were a bit disappointed because we had booked and prepaid the 5-course tasting menu for diner at the hotel restaurant, which was canceled by the hotel, without any communication to us. "
