"We stayed here as it is very local to my sisters and were up for a family Christmas and we were not disappointed. We were welcomed and everything was polite and friendly. The room was well presented and there were even chocolates waiting for us. Plus a fully stocked coffee/tea/hot chocolate and biscuits. "The hotel was easy to find plenty of room to park. The check-in will a simple process and i was made to feel very comfortable. The room was very comfortable with a large bed. It had a very homely feeling. The dinner menu was simple but varied food was served within a timely manner to suggest it was cooked to order rather the chucked in rhe microwave. Good selection for breakfast to. I had scrambled eggs which wasn't on the menu but they were more than happy accommodate me. "

"The room is dated but the bed and pillows were comfortable. It needs better lighting in the room as it is very dull and un inviting plus the desk lamp was not working. With the design of all rooms you do feel like you are staying at a Butlins site. The evening meal in the pub was very good but the breakfast was acceptable but needed to be hotter I stayed one night which is fine but wouldn’t want to stay longer "
