A slept in bed, dirty sheets, one towel, a vile shared bathroom, questionable communal areas, people loitering in hallways repeatedly trying bedroom doors, poor lighting, dirty and stained carpets and the area around the property is badly lit and seems generally unsafe. "For the price, the general standard of the property was OK, but there were a number of problems. First, the description "one bedroom apartment" is misleading - this is one bedroom within an apartment, not the same thing at all. Second, the area does not feel safe. It is a primarily industrial area, some of it derelict, and I would have been nervous going there late at night. Last, although it was fairly clean overall, there was a condom in its wrapper in the bedside drawer. "

"The plumbing work was poor and the sink kept making loud noises all night. The best sheets were dirty. The window was broken and would not close and it was freezing cold. There was noise all night"

"If you’ve spent days travelling to this apartment and then told it was not available and you’ve got no where else to go. Then this is the apartment is for you. I had to spend my nights on a friend sofa in Wolverhampton and only got part of my payment back which I’m still disputing."

"The accommodation was clean, parts of the floor need attention, bathroom was clean with 1 towel and loo roll. Initial communication was fine but the tv nor internet wasn’t working so any coms re these issues absolutely not response, event tried calling but no answer. "If you want to be right in the centre this is the place to be. Unfortunately a lots of building work going on next door but in the evening this had no affect on the hotel and generally a quiet place to sleep if you are a few floors up. Hotel staff very helpful."

"I had not realized how beautifully located The Gresham is to old town Leicester. The Gresham could use some refurbishing (hall carpets as an example) however, the ambiance was perfect for me. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast each day was delicious with reasonable selections. My room was quite cozy and comfortable. I have other trips planned from the US to Leicester and I will always book The Gresham for my stay. Overall, it was perfect for my needs. "
