"Excellent hotel in a close and central downtown location. Very clean, modern and excellent pool and gym facilities. Very friendly staff. Easy to access all forms of transportation from this location. We took Bart in from the airport Walked about 1.5 blocks to the hotel from the Powell St station. After that used all the muni transportation services to see many parts of the city. We will definitely stay here again!"

"Great location as it was in union square, the staff was very helpful. It was just sad that there was a strike outside the hotel during our whole stay, I hope they get their needs met soon. When it comes to the room it was pretty tight, when we checked in we had to call front desk to get the towels changed coz there were make up stains in the towels, and then the shower’s glass door looks like it was not cleaned, full of gunk and watermark. The glass door actually doesnt stay shut, so we had to use a hair tie to keep it closed. There was a notepad but no pen. Very comfortable bed and pillows tho. They were very nice to send us microwave in our room coz my sister needed to heat up her food since she has dietary restrictions and cant just eat anywhere and anything. I really appreciated that. And the hotel feels safe once you're inside. Overall, front desk staff and concierge is amazing, I cant say the same for housekeeping. Room needs some updating/fixing. Overall this place itself is okay. You can definitely do better for less. "
