"This is my 2nd stay at this location, and it is my favorite Sotetsu hotel. I've stayed at other Sotetsu hotels, and this one by far is the best. The staff are attentive and speak excellent English. The location is perfect for exploring Kyoto. The rooms are clean and decently sized by area standards, and with competitive pricing. The breakfast menu changes daily, with Asian food and some western items as well. My favorite Sotetsu! "

"The staff were very kind and accommodating. The extra things like tea, coffee, pajamas, toothbrushes, and combs were all self-service in the lobby which was nice. And there’s a lot of things that can be loaned such as iced pillows. However, we weren’t impressed by the cleanliness - bedsheets and curtains came stained. "

"This hotel was perfect for our trip, so close to the train station. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the rooms were a nice size, and a little cold but warmed up fairly quickly. Would definitely stay here again."
