"Great option for a stay in Monterey! The room is charming and we loved the details of the French door, fireplace and skylight. Comfortable and clean with great service from the staff. Breakfast was such a great perk and the staff kept it stocked and ready. Walking distance to the wharf and the downtown area for food and drinks. Could walk to the cannery but chose to drive. Would definitely stay here again! "

"Loved the old charm but some things seemed run down like stains on the carpets everywhere. The location however was great! Downtown Monterey has lots of restaurants and breweries to walk to and very close proximity to the wharf, walking/bike trail on the water. We chose to walk the 1.5 miles to the Monterey Bay Aquarium on a beautiful sunny day with lots of wildlife to see along the way."
