"Warm and welcoming from start to finish. The guest house was the perfect little space for our Christmas getaway. The living space was clean and comfortable. Outside was private and completely enclosed for our little dog. Already looking forward to our next stay:)"

"So many pluses to this adorable property. The location, for one, is perfect. Literally a 3 minute drive to downtown Carmel, and the17 mile drive (Pebble Beach). Pacific Grove and Monterey...20 minute drive. The place itself was clean, and comfortable. Beautiful views from scenic windows, and all the amenities you need, but the best part was being dog friendly. Communication between ourselves and the property owner were superb. On a scale of 1-10 we rate this place a 9.5. Thank you!"

"My wife and I have been visiting Monterey for years and love the cool weather and peaceful vibe of the area. First, the accommodations were excellent. The unit itself is very new. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet and nestled in the Skyline Forest area of Monterey. The roads and driveways can be steep, but the views are amazing. "We liked everything about this classic, updated motel. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We had a standard, amply-sized room with a fireplace as a bonus, at an affordable rate. Feels like a mid-century California coastal motel, in a row of similar places down the road. It was a little bit of a walk, not terrible, to the downtown and Cannery Row locations. We walked throughout of our 3-day stay without trouble. We'd stay at the Arbor Inn again to visit lovely Monterey."

"Our experience at this hotel was terrible. It was impossible to contact them before arriving. When we did arrive after 6 hours in the car they would let us use a restroom and it would be 3 hours until check in. The woman kept adding a day to my stay. And as I requested a downstairs room for the 5th time she put me upstairs. Another woman working said they need a downstairs room. So finally we did get the downstairs room. "Loved staying here, excellent property. Only two issues were many holes in the fence (our small dog escaped but luckily came back), we spent some time covering them with bricks and rocks and pizza boxes. Also bedroom off the family room was unbearably freezing at night, probably due to leaky sliding glass doors. Otherwise the place was gorgeous and spotless and stocked with everything you would need. Definitely would come back!"

"House is very clean and spacious, close enough to all scenic places and stores we wanted to access, yet away from the tourist noises and crowds. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again if we are back to the area."

"We stayed here for our mini moon just now. We’ve stayed here before for one night and we liked it so we had to come back. The check in was smooth and we happened to get a cold and I used a lot of tissue boxes and toilet paper. Thankfully they were always replenished everyday we were there and it was so helpful when we felt so bad. The room was sweet and had everything we needed. It was clean and we enjoyed using the coffee maker and mini fridge. The soap smells really good and there’s plenty of toiletries if needed. We washed a load of laundry which was a good price, $6 total to wash and dry. Sadly there’s only one set so we made some guests sigh in frustration when we did a load and we made it to the laundry room first. It’s in an easy location to go retreat to at night. We had a hard time connecting to the casting on the tv to watch YouTube and other streaming platforms from our devices but cable tv is always good too. The sheets were nice but the comforter was strangely a hard plastic casing that was in between a top sheet and another top sheet so touching that in sleep was weird. Not my favorite part of the room. We’d definitely stay here again because the room is nice, the neighbors are decently quiet and the price point is unbeatable. We appreciate our stay and the cleaning staff/ front desk that helped us and took care of our needs. Thank you!"
