The Monterey Hotel

3.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (1143)
"This hotel was super convenient since it was walkable to downtown and the wharf. The staff was super kind. The hotel is definitely out of date BUT is extremely clean and feels historic. The view from our historic room was pretty, but a little loud at night. There was a homeless person sitting inside when we left to pick up our car from the valet which was weird but not a big deal. Would definitely come back!!"

"This was an amazing property! Taking the recreational trail will take you from Fishermans Warf to the Monterey Bay Aquarium with Cannery Row in-between! Very walkable all around Monterey. Great food all a round. The room we were in had a king bed, upstairs, with a fireplace. We had 3 rooms in a row, all were very comfortable, quaint, smelled good. All 3 beds were great. They give you a complimentary fire log to enjoy the atmosphere. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Highly...
